There is more than meets the eye when one catches up with Dani Putra, team leader and F&B Bartender at the Axis Lounge. Seemingly shy, Dani is actually friendly and easy-going. A hard worker that has certainly earned his merits, Dani has been nominated as DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur’s Hero of the Month 7 times and has won 4 times thus far. This is in addition to a myriad of awards won in barista competitions. He currently holds the record for no medical leaves taken since starting at the hotel in 2010. Other than having a keen eye on making intoxicating cocktails, Dani also has a passion for architecture.
William Lian Cone
Lobby Manager, Axis Lounge, Cellar Door & The Food Store
Hailing from Sarawak, William can always be seen around the Lobby area of DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur. He has recently joined the Food & Beverage team at the hotel as Lobby Manager. William started his career in 2007 in Miri Marriott Resort & Spa, Sarawak, as a front office agent before switching to the food & beverage department, an area he is deeply passionate about at Putrajaya Shangri-La, Kuala Lumpur as the Service Manager in 2012. With over six years of experience within the hospitality industry, William plans to develop a high performing customer oriented team that continues to achieve excellent business results and customer service, while overseeing the operation of the hotel’s lobby outlets comprising of The Food Store, Cellar Door and Axis Lounge. Adventurous and understanding, William is an Italian cuisine enthusiast and enjoys cooking at home during his off days.
